圆形雕塑由细腻的卡拉拉白色大理石构造，搁在海绿色⼤理石上。十九世纪末期⼯工艺，孩童头顶佩戴水草冠，把瓷罐中的水倒出。采用的是传统的河流图像代码，通常人类会已头顶围绕芦苇皇冠，从瓷罐倒⽔。 艺术家试图表达孩童为一个水源，最终它会成为流淌的河流。例如传统描绘喷泉的寓言，也会用到孩童，随着孩子年龄的增长，他会成为这些有胡子的男人。 我们特别要注意的是艺术家非常睿智的选择让孩童的手穿惯水流来表现水的流通。
